No fucking way. I used to really dig SKWBN. Their new album blows, though.
I can't think of a more bizarre band to pair with you guys, but I'd still love to see the show.
Schwa-wha-what? have not heard them, but love the silver jews song which mentions them. was actually singing from that album this morning. am wondering around kahului, charging this battery, waiting for the optometrist's to open. last night I bussed out here to check out the world premeire of this film on 'Bhutan: Taking the Middle Path to Happiness'. went to this Auntie Pasta's Italian restaurant in the mall for some honest to god draft pbr (at $5 a glass) and cacciucco (they were out of crab! what did I just pay $25 for? calamari, mussels, tomato juice, and prawn?). they were playing dylan's 'how does it feel' I was singing it on my way to the MauiArtsAndCulturalCenter for the film (with a little of dylan's dude's theme from Lebowski, and the FLips' Zaireeka's 'You're Invisible Now' mixed in for good measure. I had my ninja gear on for sleeping out on the Dicey Icey beach in the city here). And lo and behold the first preview is for the new Todd Haynes' Dylan film 'I'm Not There'... trailing what catchy little # you think?
Cain't wait till Jack's day braddah and $1 Pibbers again.
will try hard to snag the poster later this month. don't tell Kujo till then.
